Short description: The chemical composition of feeds. Nutrients and their role in metabolism. The measures of nutritive value of feeds. Minerals and vitamins. Antynutritional compounds. Balancing of rations and recipes of concentate mixtures for monogastric animals and ruminants. Feed menagment.
Full description: Getting to know the chemical ingredients of feed and their nutritional role. Nutrients and their metabolism in animals. The ,easures of nutritional value of feed acc. to various feeding systems.. Minerals and vitamins and their importance in animal nutrition. The nutritional value of feeds with particular emphasis antinutrional factors. The specifity of nutrition of monogastric animals vs ruminants. Balancing of rations and recipes of concentrate mixturesl for different species and type of use of livestock. Elements of management of feedstuffs.
